W H A T: Planning the Batman bar

S T A T U S: In Progress

James had arrived early at the restaurant and sat at a table in the corner from where he could see the entrance. He had practice later, so he just ordered himself a water while looking through the menu. He couldn't really eat anything aside from a salad, but looking was allowed, right? He was actually rather excited about the prospect of the Batman bar. Terry had loved the idea as well and so everything was perfect. Well, he loved playing football as well, so he wouldn't really work at the bar, but it'd be a nice place to hang out with friends. Especially since they all loved Batman as well. Or most of them. And he really thought that the concept was a good one and the bar would be very successful. So Orla and him only needed to sort out the rest of the stuff now.

Tapping his fingers on the table James sipped his water. The only thing he really hated about having practice in the afternoon was that he couldn't have a glass of wine or eat anything heavy until then. Right now he really was hungry. Oh well, he'd have to wait and eat a ton after practice then. Glancing briefly at his watch before he looked out of the window again he hummed softly under his breath, ideas for different cocktails running through his head.

Can't be late, Orla was panicking that she would be late. She didn't want to leave James waiting long especially when they had such important things to discuss. Orla had to apparate to an alley nearby and make the walk to the restaurant. She was starving as she had nothing to eat to eat yet since she had woke up late, you could tell by the fact her hair was messily pulled back and she wasn't wearing much make-up. She lifted her bag onto her shoulder as she walked in the door of the restaurant and taking a look around spotting James. "Crap," she muttered under her breath as she rushed over to the table.

Dropping her bag to the floor she sat down brushing a few stray strands of hair from her face, but it didn't really help. "Sorry I'm late, I am late right?" Or was James early, still she hated that he had been waiting. Orla opened the menu hoping to choose something fast if James was ready to order. "Did you pick something out to eat cause I could choose fast."

James looked up when Orla rushed over, trying hard to suppress a grin. Normally he was the one who was being late, but he never rushed in like that. He just pretended that he was on time.

"How about you take a deep and calming breath first?" He smiled, leaning back in his chair. "You're not really late, I was here early. Please take your time to pick something out. There's no hurry." He still had another four hours until practice, so there really wasn't. Taking another sip of water he gave her time to decide. Hectic and stress was something James hated and he tended to avoid it at all costs. Especially if there was no need for it, like now.

Orla laughed and took a breath. "Well I didn't think I was that late, and well apparently I wasn't." Orla was glad that the reason James was waiting was not completely her fault. Finally feeling less stressed and rushed she started to pick something from the menu. "You know I have never been here." Orla commented as if it was something that needed to be shared when really it was just an attempt to make some conversation before getting down to business.

She was trying not to jump into business to early but she was rather excited about talking about it. She had always thought working for herself would be great and in a place that cool would just be a plus. Orla hoped it wasn't a pipe dream because she was willing to quit her job to do this.

"It's a rather unknown place, I guess." James smiled. "I just happen to know all the Italian places in town and the food here is really good." He might not have admitted it, but he sometimes really missed Italy. Although he had been born and raised in England apart from the vacation in his mother's home country every now and then he had thoroughly enjoyed the years he had spent there after finishing school. Ah, what would he give for playing football at the beach right now.

"I hope you find something you like?" He asked, pointed at the menu.

"I also think I am in my own little world of my three restaurants." Orla liked to keep to the things she knew she liked but also because those places weren't expensive and saw Orla enough a few of the waitresses and waiters would give it to her for free. Orla hated being strapped for cash but hopefully running her own place she would be happier doing it. Orla was interested in trying something new even if it could be a tad out of her price range.

"I am sure I will," she said as she opened it looking it over. She found pasta and she was sold now she just had to choose what type. "Suggest any good pasta?"

"Well if you like tuna, definitely go for the tuna pasta. If not the Alfredo one is great as well. Careful, I might try to steal your food though," James added with a wink. What he'd give for a wonderful plate full of pasta right now.

"So, to talk shop. Have you got a place in mind for the bar already?"

"Alfredo one it is, I have a love affair with it." Orla closed the menu and began to wonder how big the serving would be and if there would be enough to share or even save for later. Orla hoped it would be good as she loved a good Alfredo. "Talking shop yes," she tried to think of what to say on the matter of the place of the bar. "I actually found this place in London that was for lease it didn't get to look more than through the window but I liked it's location. It has some tourist attractions around it, so it might be expensive. I tried to get them to show me but they didn't take me serious." Orla groaned, that was what sucked about being nineteen people not taking you seriously.
