Amber eyes closed as he contemplated his options. Returning to the streets to resume his homicide streak excited him. Getting payback against the golden man who set this entire ordeal into motion sounded better. When his eyes opened, traces of sapphire swirled about the center.
“Remember what ‘cha came here fer…” , he thought to himself while staring at the claws on his fingers.
“Find Odin.” he commanded to the Tesseract.
Fingers curled, and the muscles in his forearms widened from the tension.
“…an’ bring me to ‘em.”
Creed bared his teeth. “No tricks, no head-games this time. Get my back if any of his goons show up, got it Birdie?”
He paused, reflecting how his siege would have cost him an eye and paralysis before his life, had it not been for his new avian companion.
“And one more thing: if shit goes sideways and I lose… Kill me.”
Creed remembered the anguish that fell upon Loki’s children, and vowed then and there to not join them in such misery.
