The spirit of Mjolnir allowed its bearer to walk and think for a time. It wanted to allow the man to form his own plans. It knew that the man wished to find Sleipnir, and thus Loki. It also seemed that Thor was either going to walk or drive to do so. Although the mystical weapon did its best to keep its words helpful and non-confrontational, there was an air of frustration to the hammer's mental voice.
"Just a reminder...you can fly." It paused a moment, letting the words settle over the bearer. "If you wish to find Loki before his son leaves him you'll need speed. Sleipnir's presence before Loki is rare...nearly forbidden. He is never allowed to stay long. If Loki has not taken the Watcher's bargain then I sense the stallion's time may soon be at an end. We can only hope that Sleipnir is free and with his father for the long-term. If that is the case then you are free to walk if you wish...it is difficult to know how the bargain went. I suppose we can wait to see how long Sleipnir's presence lingers, but by that point it will be too late."
The weight of the hammer around his neck seemed to increase, another helpful reminder that if Thor used the momentum of swinging its natural form through the air he would lift upward like a bird. A mere shift in that momentum and he would then hurl himself in a streak through the sky, crossing several miles in moments...if he were so inclined, after all. Mjolnir was aware that the man was new to his power...but if Thor intended to find the elusive Trickster God he would need to hurry.
