"What magpie? You speak in riddles, Loki," Ororo siad.
"I suppose we should get to Clarice, then, and, if we can, Creed... before he manages to get himself killed up there. Maybe we even find an idea how to get you out of this bridle while we're at it," Kurt said, glancing at the horse. "What about your other children, Loki? Do you know where they are right now? It's... the Midgardsnake and who else?"
With little obvious apprehension, Kurt stepped towards Sleipnir. It would be a lie to say that he wasn't nervous about a trip straight into the Norse lion's den, but he wasn't the kind to lock up with fear. Instead he closed his glowing eyes for a moment, sending a short prayer to the one god that he knew wouldn't be trying to mislead or kill him today.
Ororo turned to the horse again. It seemed she liked this one better than his father, who she still had a hard time trusting. The horse, on the other hand, seemed earnest and truly troubled.
"Thank you. Protecting these children must be my first task."
"And mine is getting to Clarice. We have to bring her to safety first, although I doubt that she would leave without her father," Kurt said, inclining his head. "I guess I will skip introducing myself to the Allfather, then, and try to find a quiet way around the shadows. Shall I simply climb on your back, Sleipnir?"
