Now The Doctor had heard tales about this magic block. The perception filter that doubled as an elevator, and he had quite a few questions for Jack about it. Especially as they started to move. "Now exactly how long has this been here, and how did you get it to work?" All he knew was that it couldn't be a piece of the TARDIS. Still his attention was caught as they got below the street level and the Hub was revealed, The Doctor's attention was taken up by the sight below.
All of this was under Cardiff... and no one above had any idea. He glanced back at Jack. "How long has this been under Cardiff?" The questions keep coming and then when the elevator stops he starts running around, screwdriver out examining the equipment. It is all very impressive...
Martha had left Medical and started making her way upstairs. She was six months gone now and was very clearly showing. Telling Gwen had been fun. Telling her parents had been even MORE fun, now she was getting weekly calls from her mother and she and Jack were getting monthly visits from Tish (and Leo had finally gotten a small explanation and was getting over the fact that he felt people had been keeping things from them but understood...). Getting up to the top of the stairs, Martha paused for a second and looked down at her stomach. "Promise me no more kicking," she asked it. Yes she was talking to the baby, and that was how Gwen found her. And the two walked in together.
"Well it's about time," she called ahead of them. "Does he even know how late he is this time?" She put on an angry face. The doctor was going to get a scolding.
