"Interesting seems to be an understatement," Gwen commented. She'd talked to him very briefly the very small handful of times he'd interacted with Torchwood, but still wasn't sure what to make of him. It seemed like he and Jack alternated between being close friends and then wanting to tell each other off. She was definitely going to have to ask Martha later if she knew anything about it.
Jack finished scarfing down his slice of pizza and leaned back in his chair. "What can I say? I guarantee that life is never boring for my friends and employees," he joked. He turned more serious though as his attention shifted to Martha. "You know that we're going to get things accomplished faster if you're the one mainly working with him. So the rest of us will keep out of his way... for now."
