Who: Martha Jones and Open (mention of an NPCed Ianto Jones)
What: Trying to get home after a day of Torchwood duty [EVENT; Subsider Attack]
When: June 12, 2010
Where: Streets of Cardiff
Why: Because the Vampires are of course going to be there and the Subsiders... well it isn't going to be pretty.
Status: Open, incomplete
Rating: NC-17 later on, after warning.
There were reasons that Martha wore sensible shoes to work. If it had been one thing she'd learned from the Doctor, it was that you never knew when you might be chased by angry 15th Century English royal guards or - in the case of Torchwood - chasing after a rogue Weevle. But right now... she couldn't head to the pubs it was too late. Instead, now she was faced with a different problem, and she had to wonder several things:
1) Why was it she didn't at least carry a stun gun, since Mace wasn't doing anything.
2) Why had she decided that it was safe to walk home tonight.
and
3) Why hadn't Ianto said that this was a bad idea when she'd told him she was leaving.
She just didn't know! All she knew was, whatever had tried to grab her, it wasn't human. She'd managed to get away, but now... she had been forced to veer off course from where the SUV she'd been assigned while working at Torchwood had been parked. And Cardiff at night, as nice as it was - and it was - was not all that populated. Jack was never going to let her live this down! He was going to force her to carry a gun - which she didn't want to - and maybe put a tracking device on her. If she could just get back to the hub...
She couldn't get to her mobile and she didn't have one of the earpieces. She'd left it in her locker! She could see something ahead, but she didn't thing it could help. She needed to get back to the Plass but if she brought them into the base... She scrambled for her phone, looking for something - anything - that she could hold them back with! Swinging it at them she managed to clock one in the head. She had seen the articles about these things. It raised the question as to why the team hadn't looked into it yet! But these weren't aliens!
A figure in a long coat darted out from the alley, grabbed hold of Martha, and yanked her into the darkened and shadowed doorway of one of the shops. He clamped a hand over her mouth and pinned her to the wall, trying to keep them both completely still as something rushed past them and continued on down the street.
"Don't move," he whispered. He knew he'd probably scared the hell out of her, but Martha was tough. She'd be fine.
"I just got you away from UNIT, so don't think you're getting yourself killed this quickly," he teased.
When he was certain they were safe (for the moment at least), he loosened his hold and gave her a quick hug. "And sorry for scaring you, but we had to move quick. You okay?"
She was about to let out a scream but the hand clamped over her mouth and she felt herself pinned to a wall. She struggled a bit until she saw something familiar. The light from the streetlight glinted off a button, recognizing it and hearing a familiar voice, she stopped. The questions ran through her head. How had he gotten here... but she was not going to argue. She listened to the instructions and rolled her eyes, looking up at him.
Yes, it was Jack.
"Asylum from UNIT in Torchwood," she whispered back poking him in the shoulder. It wasn't that she was shaken; she just hadn't been expecting a chase through downtown Cardiff tonight. She held the hug for several moments before pulling back. "Oi! If it’s a choice between giving me a fright and having one of those things after me? I'll take the fright by an attractive non-stranger any day," she almost smiled before nodding. "Yeah. They came out of nowhere. Just got a glimpse of them. I have no idea what they are... but it probably has something to do with that warning," she kept her voice down just in case they were still around. And she had no doubt they were.
She paused for a second before looking Jack in the eye. "How did you find me anyway... you weren't following me, were you?" She raised an eyebrow almost accusingly.
Jack grinned and poked her back. "You're still my newest employee," he teased. His eyes gave her a quick once over to make sure she was alright and he let go of her.
"Okay, yeah... I was following you," he admitted. Jack quickly held up a finger though before she could interrupt him. "And it's only because I kept seeing weird things on the CCTV. So when I found out you'd gone out on your own and without a gun, I figured it couldn't hurt. You can yell at me later if you want."
She couldn't help but shake her head. "Riiight," she winked at him before rolling her eyes. "You know that I don't carry guns, Jack," she knew that this wasn't the time.
Martha edged to the corner of the alley, looking around the corner, ducking back in when she saw more of them. "It wasn't going off on my own, I was trying to go home," she said with a serious tone. I can't keep staying at the Hub, can I?" it was sort of a rhetorical question. They spent so many nights talking, joking, and generally enjoying each other's company. But tonight she'd thought maybe he'd want some Jack time, thus why she'd left. "So do you have a plan?" she asked looking over at him impishly. "Or shall I come up with something?"
"I know... and you know that I think you should start carrying one," he said, flashing her a smile.
"And why not? I stay there," Jack replied, giving her a wink. "I've got a nice warm bunk that's not quite big enough for two..."
He paused though, hearing a sound from nearby. Jack protectively placed himself between Martha and the noise, peering out to see what was happening. "No plan... well, not yet. But I'll think of something on the fly. You know I'm good at that. Come on though... we need to move before they come back."
She smirked. "Well I'll start carrying a gun with bullets the day you graduate medical school," she grinned despite the situation. "Now an alien gun that has no bullets, that is a different issue altogether."
Martha couldn't help but look at him slyly at his comment. "Hmmm is that an invitation, Captain? Because you know I never turn those down." She never backed down at this game. But she would stay. It wouldn't be the first time. They spent hours in his bunk talking and reminiscing. Telling stories of their trips in the Tardis and everything in between. And half the time she would up falling asleep anyway.
The sound brought her back out of her own thoughts, holding Jack's coat by the front. She trusted him implicitly. It went without saying. "You're the best." she grabbed his hand, trying to see what was going on and got a glimpse, managing to pull Jack back before they saw him. "Alright... They're distracted." and they were... by something. There was no way to tell what it was. But if it was human... Didn't they have to save it?
"Alien gun with no bullets... gotcha. Remind me to pull one from the armory for you when we're both back at the Hub. And you know it's an invitation. End of the World survivor's club, right? Besides... you know how much I like spending time with you. Us former Companions have got to stick together."
Jack went silent as Martha pulled him back. He mentally counted to ten, peered back out, and nodded to her. "I want you out of here. Go back to the Hub, your place, whatever's closer. I'll make sure they stay distracted."
"It’s ALWAYS an invitation where you're involved," she said with a knowing smile. But there were more important things going on right now. She'd have to bring that back up later. Despite everything his words caught her off guard and she shook her head. He couldn't be serious.
"You can't think that I'm going to leave you here!"
"Not leaving... Going first. If something happens to me, I'll be fine. I don't want anything happening to you," he said firmly. "I'll be right behind you. I promise."
She did not like the prospect of those words. They rang ugly and a bad idea in her ear! Martha's hand went to his and she squeezed it, looking into his eyes. She knew that the situation was dire, there were vampires in Cardiff!!! But she didn't want to leave him here! If she needed to she'd take his gun. Yes, he couldn't die, but she wasn't going to leave him.
"Jack..." She really didn't want to...
Jack sighed and gave her a look. Besides Gwen, Martha was one of the few people who questioned him. And he knew that she could be stubborn as hell too. What was it with him being attracted to strong willed women?
"Alright, fine... on three, we both make for the Plass. No matter what, don't you dare stop running. Got it?"
She argued, yes. But it was because Jack didn't fully think things through all the time... and mostly because she didn't want him hurt. She couldn't stand to see him hurt... it hurt her too much.
She kept her grasp on his hand, refusing to let go until the very last second. She squeezed his hand again, nodding vigorously. "Right." When they got back they would have to talk about this. There was no way she was leaving tonight now... She braced herself for the eventual race.
Jack held up a hand as he silently watched the 'vampires'. He still wasn't sure if that's what they were or not, but they certainly acted like them. The creatures finished off their victim and began to move away.
He waited another long moment, dropped his hand to signal, and took off running. "Just like old times," he joked, grinning as he glanced over his shoulder at Martha.
At the drop of his hand, Martha took off. The late night air whipping past her face - making her glad that she'd worn her hair back today. She'd ditched the suits soon after being saved from UNIT. Part of her had wished that being 'saved' or rather being given asylum - hadn't been necessary, but she should have just quit then and there as soon as she got back... done what her mind had told her, followed Jack and never looked back. And when UNIT had come knocking he had firmly told them to get out. They hadn't come back since, and more importantly they hadn't bothered her family.
She managed to keep up with Jack, despite his longer legs, having had much practice during her time with the Doctor. "Wouldn't have it any other way." She could see the Plass but they unfortunately weren't going by undetected. She cursed the fact that she couldn't get her Tardis key around her neck, there just wasn't time. "Running from strange creatures. SO many memories," She managed to roll her eyes. But in truth, the adrenaline was now shooting through her system.
"At least this time, they're not trying to eat us," he joked. But as he thought about that, Jack burst out laughing. "Or maybe they are, if they really are vampires."
He pulled out his Webley and fired a warning shot at one of the things, hoping to scare them off. Jack flipped open his wrist strap and his finger hovered just above the button, ready to activate the invisible lift the moment they were close enough.
Martha managed to pull away from the creature that was gaining on her thanks in no small part to Jack's distraction technique... guns as distraction... Well they did have their uses, she supposed. It had been a close one, and she tried to speed up a bit. They were almost there.
Her mind was racing, trying to remember what she'd read of Vampires when she was younger... But then again... they couldn't be real, right? IT had to be an alien. The question was once they were down there what did they do?! Cardiff's citizens were still in danger, and Torchwood wasn't all that popular already. Was there a way to control this? Everyone else had gone home already!
The moment he stepped up onto the block, Jack pressed the button and activated the lift. He turned to face Martha and held out both arms, ready to catch her.
"COME ON," he yelled, noticing that there were now several more of the things following them. "JUMP!"
The lift was moving and the creatures were gaining. Jack had activated the stone and it was - in some ways - a leap of faith. But it was one that she 1) had to take and 2) would have taken anyway. It was Jack. There was no one she trusted more (other than The Doctor).
She felt something grab the back of her coat and she roughly pulled it away only to find that it had a firm hold on it, she was especially glad that she didn't keep anything in her pockets, as she slipped out of the light summer jacket and practically threw herself at Jack, holding to him tightly.
Jack caught hold of Martha and held her tightly against him with one arm. He pulled his gun, aimed, and shot her attacker square in the head. The lift continued to descend and the plate slid into place, preventing any of them from slipping inside.
"You okay?" he asked in concern, giving her a quick look over for any injuries.
Her breathing was uneven and she tried to get it back under control, refusing to let go of him until they were under the street, heading down to the floor of the hub. She hadn't seen if the creature was dead or not, she'd had more important things. Despite everything she'd seen and done, that close an encounter with a feral beast - which was the only description she had for that creature - of that sort... it put her slightly off her game.
"Y-yes," she managed to get out, "'M fine." She said the words just as they reached the floor of the hub, looking up at him and not letting go. The hub was quiet... deadly quiet. Everyone else had already left. "I guess I'm down another jacket," she tried to joke, something to lighten the mood.
Jack grinned and gently ran his hand up and down her back. "Just get a new one and we'll bill it to Torchwood," he joked.
He looked around the Hub and noticed the dim lighting. That usually meant everyone else had gone home for the night, leaving Jack and Myfanwy with the Hub to themselves. "Besides... jackets can be replaced. Friends can't."
Martha slowly started to relax, not moving. The tension fell from her shoulders, leaning against him. It was safe here. Truthfully, the hub had proven to be among the safest places in all of Wales. She wouldn't admit it but in that moment she had - for a split second - become unsure if she'd be able to get away. She was a Defender of Earth. She didn't waver. She couldn't! "One good thing about this job," She sighed. "Hazard pay." And it was true. It was dangerous. The pay was REALLY good.
She took a step off the lift and sighed. It was cold in here. She'd been here after close lots of times, but tonight it felt especially cold. Possibly because of the situation but more likely because they'd had the air conditioning on all day... it was cooler underground but the equipment needed to stay at on temperature. "So what do we do now? They're running around up there attacking people!" sometimes she really was a doctor first...
"For now? We let Cardiff Heddlu handle things. Until we've got some more information about those things, we'd be running in there blind."
He noticed that she was shivering a little, so Jack held up a finger and smiled. "Have a seat on the sofa... I'll be right back."
Martha pulled one of her legs up onto the couch, she'd been about to move when Jack clearly then verbally told her to. She sighed not wanting to but sat down all the same, trying to get herself internally back under control. She didn't have any idea where he was going! "Jack whatever it is," she called. "It can wait. I'm sure." she didn't want him to be that far away...
"Just stay put!" he called out. Jack returned a few minutes later with a warm blanket and two mugs of coffee. He sat down beside Martha, draped the blanket around her, and winked as he handed her the coffee.
She took the coffee gratefully, moving over so Jack could sit too. He was usually the one who bought her her coffee when Ianto wasn't there or she was just too busy. He was the only one allowed in her office because of the delicate equipment there. She waited for Jack to sit down before moving slightly, trying to get herself to relax. She didn't say anything, just took a few sips of the coffee.
"Better?" he asked, smiling as he raised his mug to his lips. Times like this were one of his favorite parts of this job. There might be a danger to face and sort out, but just being able to sit with a friend made it all worth it.
She finally let herself relax, moving over slightly and sighing, just letting the mug sit in her hands. He knew how she liked her coffee. She was very grateful for that.
Martha pulled her legs up and closed her eyes, leaning against Jack. "Yeah," she sighed. "Better now..." she stopped there, taking a break, was she worried? Yes. Could they do anything about what was going on upstairs? probably not. Aliens were their thing, not vampires. She moved the blanket so it was covering both of them, trying to get the faces out of her mind.
Jack arched an eyebrow when Martha covered them both with the blanket. He smiled though, snugging an arm around her shoulders and resting his cheek in her hair. "Unless we plan on going back up with some heavy weapons and killing them all, our best bet is to lay low here for a while."
She closed her eyes, snuggling against him further. The truth was that she was still shaking, just slightly, and she took comfort from him, just like always. There was something unspoken between the two of them. It didn't need to be justified. It never had.
Martha rested her head against his shoulder after putting her coffee cup down on the table behind her, wrapping her arms around him and not letting go. She moved her head slightly and looked up at him. It was clear that there was no good answer to this problem. She sighed. "I just don't know..."
"The main problem is that if Rogers and his people are correct, we need to decapitate them. And sorry... but we don't exactly have a lot of weapons here at the moment for that purpose."
Jack gently ran his hand up and down, just lightly rubbing her arm to try and help Martha calm down a little. "It's okay," he murmured softly, feeling her shake a little. "We'll sort it out."
She knew that they'd sort it out. This was one of the rare instances where their alien tech would NOT be useful in the battle.
She felt calmer just from his touch, she knew that it was something that she had felt more of since coming to work at Torchwood. And she knew why it was... It was something she'd been fighting for a while. Not wanting to say anything, throw off the status quo. Gwen and Jack... her last time here they'd discussed things with Jack, and how they were the only ones not to have kissed him, but that had changed. Completely changed, and now she wished... No wishing wasn't going to do anything... She knew that.
She moved to look at him, pausing for a moment, just staring, moving a hand up to his shoulder before leaning in and brushing his lips with hers. It was abrupt but it seemed right, and it wasn't what he produced with those 51st Century pheromones, she'd become immune. But it felt right... and she wanted this.
Jack's eyes widened slightly in surprise and he didn't move. He stayed completely still for a long moment, his mind flashing back to the last time she'd kissed him. Granted, Martha had been leaving Wales to head back to UNIT. But her kiss had still surprised him, much like it did now.
He pulled back slightly and cocked his head a little to the side, giving her a quizzical smile. "What was that for?" he asked softly.
She missed his surprise. She was too involved in the kiss. It was innocent enough but when she pulled back there was that moment when rejection could have been a possibility... but with Jack...
Martha allowed a tiny smile to cross her lips and she brought a hand up to his cheek, her response as quiet as his. "Do I need a reason?" She was almost waiting for him to say something... but she hoped that he wouldn't. If nothing else, her eyes showed exactly how she was feeling...
Jack's eyes searched her own and he smiled warmly as he shook his head. "No... you don't."
There wasn't even so much of a hint of Jack's usual bravado as he turned his head and lightly kissed the palm of her hand. This wasn't just someone who caught his eye, or who he figured could be fun for a night. It was Martha, which made everything completely different.
Still smiling, he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers in a tender kiss.
And just like that it was done. He hadn't rejected her, he'd accepted it and she could see it in his eyes. His words had been... gentle. She couldn't help but smile against his lips, carefully wrapping her arms around his neck.
This was Jack... it felt right. And she didn't hesitate to kiss him back, one of her hands moving to his shoulders, pulling them closer... She couldn't help it. Now that the initial nerves were gone... she didn't want to hold back.
Jack deepened the kiss and slowly began to lean back, drawing Martha down with him. He pulled her hair tie out and dropped it onto the floor, threading his fingers up into her hair and snugging his other arm around her waist.
"You sure about this?" he asked softly, wanting to make certain. And a part of him needed to hear it, even though he'd seen from the look in her eyes that she was.
The blanket found its way to the floor, and she let him pull her on top of him, adjusting herself over him and continuing the kiss. She let her tongue flick against his, letting a small moan escape against his lips. She tried to think of the last time she'd felt like this... it was right.
Martha gazed up at him, trying to catch her breath after the kiss. She managed to nod, a small smile on her lips. "Completely." she leaned up and kissed him again before moving her lips to his cheek.
Jack opened his mouth to say, "Ok", but found himself kissing her again. Not that he minded in the least. The Doctor must've been blind to not see how sexy Martha was. But then again, he only seemed to have eyes for Rose. At least his previous regeneration had known how to flirt...
He turned his thoughts back to Martha though, closing his eyes and smiling as he felt her lips on his cheek. There were a lot of things to say, and even more that didn't need to.
Her hand ran through his hair, breaking the kiss. Admittedly there was more than one reason that she'd decided to go to Torchwood, instead of her original plan which was just to run and take refuge somewhere she could go freelance. Jack had definitely been one of them.
She moved slightly so she was closer to him than before. Martha knew Jack, eventually he would take the lead, but for now she just stared into his eyes, a small smile on her face. It was done, and from what she could tell the feeling was returned. "You have no idea how long I wanted to do this," she said with a small grin.
"So tell me," he replied, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips. Jack tugged on the sleeve of Martha's top and winked at her.
"I think you're a little over dressed, Doctor Jones..."
That was one thing that she'd been waiting to hear. She carefully moved her hand down his chest, starting to push his coat from his shoulders.
"Well," she whispered. "I suppose you'll just have to do something about that." and if there was ever an invitation that was it. There was no question about it.
Jack sat up enough to pull his arms free from the greatcoat and smiled up at Martha. "Believe me Doctor Jones, I intend to."
He glanced over his shoulder and up towards his office. "We could always move this to my bunk, if you want. Or just stay here," he suggested, starting to remove Martha's top while he spoke.
The coat fell to the cushions of the couch and she smiled down at him. She raised her arms to help him get her shirt off. Arching her back slightly as she did so.
"The option to be in close quarters with you?" she asked, leaning down to kiss him again. "That's an offer that anyone would be crazy to refuse." She sat back and smiled. Trying to pull him up into a sitting position. "What are we waiting for?" She whispered.
Jack grinned in response and sat up, dropping his boots to the floor so he could stand up. Taking hold of Martha's hand (and keeping hold of her shirt), he winked and led her upstairs to his office.
He climbed down first through the manhole that led down to his quarters and turned on the lights. "Watch your step," he warned, dropping her shirt onto the floor beside the bed.
His coat was left on the couch, not an unusual place for it to be. She didn't even think twice as she followed him. It was exciting. And she could feel the adrenaline starting to flow. She didn't like the idea of waiting. Her feet and hands carefully guided her body down the ladder and to where he was waiting, it was a very small space. They'd both stayed down here on previous occasions, but not like this. And she couldn't wait.
"I'll be careful," she said playfully, taking a step forward to where he was standing. Martha wrapped her arms around him and kissed him deeply, pulling herself up against him and slowly starting to pull his shirt from where it was tucked in. "But I know you'd catch me if I fell..." she added in a whisper.
"Always," he replied with a warm smile. Jack lowered his braces out of the way and started unbuttoning his shirt, pulling his arms free of it and tossing it to the side. He grabbed hold of his white t-shirt and yanked that up over his head, mussing his hair as he grinned at Martha.
She smiled at this, pressing her body closer to his, pulling his lips down to hers before her hands moving behind her back trying to unhook her bra. There was little space there so it did not take much until the side of her leg hit his bed. And the thought excited her. She ran her fingertips down is side smiling to herself. Yes this really WAS happening.
Jack grinned in response, sliding his arms around Martha to help her. He popped open the clasp and slid the straps down off her shoulders, his lips crashing down on hers for a heated, hungry kiss.
"So how many times have you thought about this?" he asked curiously.
She could practically feel her legs turning into jelly. Which wasn't a bad thing. She returned the kiss with as much ferocity, feeling the need growing in her, starting to work on his belt.
Martha broke the kiss momentarily, closing her eyes, whispering her answer. "Longer than I'm willing to admit." It had been a long time. Some point after The Year That Wasn't. There had been phone calls, meetings, her engagement to Tom had fallen apart, due in no small part to the feelings that she had for Jack. And then there was the fact that Tom - despite all his trying - just didn't understand. She'd sought out Mickey Smith after they'd returned the planets, to talk and for advice. Tom had hated Jack and all the time she'd spent with him, when it was just friends... She smiled running a hand down his cheek, leaning in and whispering, "a lady can't reveal ALL of her secrets."
"And I wouldn't expect her to," he replied, winking at her and smiling. "Just like I've got plenty of secrets of my own that people don't know."
Jack reluctantly broke away from Martha and stripped out of his trousers and boxers, then smiled and helped as he moved towards her to help her out of her remaining clothing. "I've thought about it too," he admitted. "First time I met you, I thought you were really cute. And after everything we went through that year, then later with you coming to work with us for a while..."
Martha moved to meet him halfway, walking right into his hands, letting him remove her clothes - what little there was. She let her head fall to the side, listening to his words, and reveling in the feel of his hands on her skin. There wasn't anything to hold them back now.
She pulled him into a kiss, rubbing against him, whispering, "I know," before deepening the kiss. All the times they'd been down here, she'd thought about it. Just forgetting the talking and pushing him back, and now... She didn't want to wait. She knew exactly what he meant. He'd been one of the things to keep her going while she was walking. It was Him, her family and the doctor. But they were never far from her thoughts and after working with him... it had been so intense between them, she couldn't help but fall for him.
When she pushed him back, Jack pulled her down onto the bed with him. He grinned up at Martha, purposely keeping her on top, but couldn't help teasing her a little.
Jack arched his hips, showing her just how much he wanted her, and teasing her as he rubbed back and forth. "I'm all yours, Doctor Jones."
Martha's eyes closed, a chill running up her spine. As if they had a mind of her own, her hips moved to meet his, and she exhaled slowly, one of her hands grabbing his and squeezing slightly.
She rolled her hips again, letting out a moan before kissing him and pressing her body against him, trying to get as close as possible. She would never admit just how many times she had thought about this. She broke the kiss squeezing his shoulder tightly, as she pushed the teasing onward, nipping down his Adam’s apple with intention.
Jack grinned and let his eyes fall closed, tilting his head back for her and loving the fact that she could be just as much of a tease as he was. He cupped her breasts with both hands and used his thumbs to circle her nipples, shifting his hips slightly. The next time Martha rolled her hips and pressed against him, he angled himself so he could finally penetrate her.
She arched her back, nipping a bit harder, feeling his hands brushing her skin with almost no pressure. She moved her lips slowly up his neck, letting out almost a whimper, feeling him lightly pressing against her. She moved her legs slightly, opening for him, holding to him tightly. The anticipation killing her, wanting him inside.
Sliding his hands down to her hips, Jack slowly reopened his eyes and smiled lazily as he gazed up at her with lust-darkened eyes. "That's it," he murmured, arching upwards and using the hold on Martha's hips to guide her down.
He took the first few strokes slow, then gave a quick thrust upwards, fully sheathing himself within her warmth.
She felt her body tense, letting out a low cry feeling him pushing into her. She stayed that way for several moments, pushing his hair out of his eyes, feeling things she hadn't in... she wasn't certain how long.
She didn't' give him any warning, moving her hips, almost experimentally, pushing him into her once, twice, causing her to bite her lower lip, eyes snapping shut, whispering his name.
Jack lightly caressed her cheek, closing his own eyes for a moment as he savored the feeling of her body moving with his own. He smiled warmly, loving the way she whispered his name like that, and kept his hips arched upwards to provide deeper penetration.
Keeping her breathing even was an issue, feeling him pushing into her deeper. Martha brought her lips down to his, her breasts rubbing his chest, the feeling of him inside her causing her to whimper as she moved her hips again, feeling him brushing that one spot that drove her absolutely crazy. All the emotions were spilling out into this one act, and pushing against him again, she broke the kiss, burying her head against his shoulder, a hand moving to the mattress, using leverage to push herself up into a seated position.
She looked down at him, eyes dark, all the worry from earlier seeming to fall away as she held out a hand to pull him into a seated position, rolling her hips again, letting her head fall back slightly.
He wrapped his arms around her waist as Martha pulled him up, shifting so his back was resting against the headboard of the bed. Jack guided Martha's legs around his waist and adjusted their position a little, giving a deep thrust before resting against the headboard again.
His eyes roamed over her naked body, taking in ever little detail of how she moved, the sounds she made, and the way she reacted to each touch and action.
She moved her hands to stablize herself, using what leverage she has, to slowly move her hips, pushing him inside her further, hitting a spot that made her shiver. Her nails dragged down his shoulder blades. She burried her head in his shoulder, not trying to hide, but the slow pace was enough to make her want to beg for more.
She opened her eyes and searched his, watching him look at her, it made her feel everything. He was just so good... Part of her wished she hadn't waited so long, but she knew why she had. "Jack..." his name came out as a whisper against his shoulder. She was naked in front of him, physical, emotionally and metaphorically, and yet was completely comfortable... MORE than comfortable. God she loved this man. She wanted to know EVERYTHING he could do.
Jack decided to up the pace, partially due to her reactions and the way she said his name. He didn't say a word, but his eyes spoke volumes.
Sliding his hands up and down her back, Jack wrapped his arms around Martha to hold her close against him. He rolled their bodies over, carefully so he wouldn't accidentally crush her. With him now on top, he fully controlled their pace and lowered his head, covering her breasts with light kisses. When he reached her nipple, Jack nipped at it and then rolled his tongue around the sensitive bud as he began to suck on it.
Her head fell back against the pillow of his bed. She wrapped her legs around him, her hand moving up into his hair. Her walls constricted around him, feeling him inside her, his weight on her, and his mouth... oh god his mouth...
Martha arched her back, her hips moving against his, moaning at the combination of sensations. She couldn't keep the moans from escaping. The nails of her free hand dug ever so slightly into his shoulder. He knew. Seemed to know just how to make her crazy... "Mmmm" she rolled her hips again, this was better than she could have imagined.
Jack turned his attention to her other breast, closing his eyes and pressing his head against her hand, loving when she played with his hair.
He moved fast and hard, thrusting deeply and grinding his hips against hers. Jack took advantage of Martha rolling her hips, shifting forward a little, deepening the angle of his penetration.
She could feel it building inside of her, her body shaking and jerking as he hit that one spot. She tried to keep her breathing steady, not ready to go over... not yet.
Her hand gripped his hair tighter, her nails now digging into his shoulder. Her breathing was hard, hips bucking against his. She was close... getting so close, her head thrown back, body tensing with each and every thrust.
And Jack could tell. He winced slightly as her nails dug in, but he liked it... felt good. When she began bucking, he made certain that each thrust was hard, fast, and deep. He kept his eyes trained on her face, taking in every change in her expression, listening to every sound, and paying close attention to all the little details about his new lover's reactions. Jack didn't want to miss a single thing and right now, she was absolutely gorgeous.
Her legs wrapped around his waist, arching her body, pulling him even deeper inside of her, causing her whole body to shake with pleasure. She couldn't open her eyes, she tried but the instant she did, he thrust harder and as much as she tried to she just couldn't... She couldn't hold on. As much as she tried to keep herself from going over, she couldn't and her grip on him got tighter, her lips moved slightly trying desperately to form proper words, his name falling from her lips before it all became too much. She couldn't hold it back and in a moment, with one last thrust, her body tensed and let it all go, feeling everything wash over her. She didn't let go of him, she wouldn't, her eyes opening slightly, watching his face...
Jack had a look of wonder in his eyes as he watched her and he was smiling lovingly down at Martha. He leaned down and tenderly brushed his lips against hers, finally letting go so he could reach his own climax.
It didn't take much longer... just a few more minutes of moving together and caressing her body. Jack closed his eyes as his body stiffened and he cried out Martha's name when he climaxed.
He remained still for a few moments, then stretched out next to Martha and draped an arm over her waist. He smiled and nuzzled her cheek, then nipped playfully at her ear.
She held onto him until the last seconds when he moved off of her, her chest rising and falling somewhat rapidly. Her limbs felt like jelly. She hadn't felt this wonderful in so long...
His arm wrapped around her, she made an attempt to move closet to him, but couldn't... not yet. She smiled lazily, feeling him teasing her ear, finding the energy and covering his hand with her own. She was certain now that he wasn't boasting, he really was just that good.
His bed was very comfortable but she'd known that before. Inhaling slowly, trying to control her breathing, a contented smile on her face, squeezing his hand, whispering to him. "You alright?" she knew the answer already.
"Yeah... I'm good." Jack smiled and squeezed her hand back, leaning in and tenderly kissing her temple. "Better than good actually."
Jack smiled and exhaled a deep breath, his own contended smile matching hers. "You're staying the night?" he asked, even though he already figured he knew the answer to that.
Martha moved closer to him, wanting to feel him, his warmth, everything, surrounding her. "That was amazing," she whispered the words, somehow managing to move so she was cuddling with him.
Her eyes opened and she looked at him. He looked.... he looked worn, happy and oh so relaxed. "Unless you were thinking of kicking me out," she said it quietly, but there was a clearly teasing and slightly cheeky tone behind it, which she knew he'd appreciate. She couldn't move. She didn't want to. She was safe here, happy... and she was with the man she loved (though she couldn't tell HIM that... not yet).
Normally, Jack would've had some kind of smart ass comment. Or he would've said 'of course it was amazing'. But with Martha, he didn't need the bravado. She'd seen him at his absolutely lowest while trapped by the Master, knew who and what he was, but still accepted him.
"Never," he replied with a gentle smile. "You're always welcome here and I don't plan on ever kicking you out, Nightingale."
She could move now, still reveling in the feeling, she turned around, facing him, and pressing a soft kiss to his lips. She snuggled in next to him, wanting to be as close as possible. "Mmm then maybe I won't ever leave." She was... happy. Content. More o than she'd felt in a long time, and she was only half teasing him. She didn't want to move. She knew him, she really knew him, and for once, she wasn't afraid of someone finding out something that could be used against her or would tear a hole in the relationship... he'd known her. Knew her. She wasn't really thinking at all... she was just happy.
Jack stretched out an arm and caught hold of the blanket and sheet, pulling them both up over them. He smiled and closed his eyes, sighing contentedly as he cuddled Martha. "I wouldn't mind that at all," he murmured.
She was going to say something, but sleep was calling and winning. Martha buried herself further into his chest and let sleep take her, feeling amazing.
