The Vampire Diaries: The Return (OOC)

For plotline purposes, would anyone be willing to take on the character of Mrs. Flowers. Some character info for the character can be found on the Wanted Characters page.

1. The directory has been updated once again with additional characters and some dropped ones. Harrison Bennett has been dropped from my list and moved to NPC status (anyone can play him if he's needed in a scene) and Emily Walker is up for adoption if anyone wants to play her. Let me know and I'll pass her journal on to you. In addition to the new characters, I've also added links at the top so people aren't having to scroll through the ridiculous length of the listing to find their characters. lol

I'd like to announce to everyone that I've moved the majority of the directory as well as the friend button to the Mod journal, tvdthereturnmod. The only thing I have left to move is the Lore, but I'm waiting on a few changes before doing that. Please make sure that ALL your characters have the Mod journal friended and vice versa because I've f-locked the friend button for reasons of privacy. If you have comments, suggestions, questions, etc., you know what to do.

I may have mentioned Toby in the past in a few IM conversations to people, but I'm happy to announce that Toby is finally able to join our RP ranks! He's got some great characters to throw into the mix, so send him an IM or shoot him an email and say hello! Since he's got new characters, that also means the friend button has been updated so click here to update all your characters.

HELLOOOOO Everyone! :D So much time and so little to do. Wait a minute. Strike that. Reverse it. XD Now that we got that out of the way, I got's lots to say so we'll get right to it.

We have a new member, so I'd like you all to IM/say hello to Debi. She's got a great character already and several more in the works. :D Welcome to the comm, Debi! We hope you'll have a blast here. ^_^

The Holds & Taken list has been updated along with the Player & Character list. Please let me know if I need to add anyone or take anyone off the lists. A note about a couple of the holds; I need the character apps for the faces of Olivia Thirlby & Hayley Williams by next Saturday.

Lottery Example: Garbhán, Nathan Cole, & Johnathan Ackerman. These three would be thrown into the post and randomly thrown together with other characters from the game based on the drawing from the pot.

I'm also going to attempt to issue a monthly drabble challenge. I'll randomly pick a word and players will have to write a drabble for that word using the character they picked. Those of you participating in the Drabble Challenge, please put in the subject line of your comment: July Drabble Challenge

Drabble Challenge Example: Word: Conspiracy. Character: Sylvia Wilde. I would need to submit a drabble by July 30th using Sylvia Wilde and writing about conspiracy. Drabbles can be posted to character journals or, if you have a CDJ, they can be posted there as well with a link back to the specific Drabble Challenge entry. Edit: Because it was asked of me, the minimum each drabble must be is 100 words and maximum is whatever you want. Just an FYI, this might be subject to change in the future, however, for the time being the min is 100 words and max is whenever you want to stop writing. :)

hello everyone!

Please excuse the sporadic capitalization; The keyboard I'm using has a shift key that's not working properly. Anyway! i am currently experiencing some technical difficulties with my computer and it is in the shop for a few days while the tech people at Staples diagnose the problem. hopefully they will be able to determine the cause for the BSOD and make any necessary repairs. Due to the computer being in the shop, i will be on a temporary hiatus until it is fixed and will check-in via my local library as soon as i can to make any necessary tag backs.

Hey everyone, this is Lindsey (Diego's player) again with THREE new characters.

This journal belongs to Garrett Stone. He's a pureblood werewolf who was made into a vampire hybrid by The Initiative through DNA testing and manipulation. He's a very nice man but he's also very unstable and prone to blackouts which usually end up bloody. He's on the run now and hiding from the government that wants to bring him back but he doesn't just stay in his hotel so he's open to scenes immediately.

Daniel Corrigan is a 19 year old boy who has had a long run of bad luck ever since the vampire he had been living with and serving (his 'Master') was killed. He's been passed from vampire to vampire all the while trying to stay away from the bad ones that want him because of his abilities. As long as Daniel could remember he was able to step into other people's dreams and manipulate them. He also has the ability to heal with touch but that always backfires on him (sometimes it's worth it.) He's homeless now and generally pretty nervous around strangers but anyone could run across him on the streets or, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, I would love to write some dreams with people for Daniel to walk through and interact with.

Cale Rosier goes by Roz and nothing else. He's an Incubus demon and can be found out every night wherever humans are for him to feast on. He normally stays away from vampires and other demons because he gets very little sustenance from their souls but he will occasionally treat himself with a werewolf or lycan because they are particularly sweet. He's a total ass but also has a hint of a goofy side in him. He's open any time for any interaction with other characters. (Sexy interactions a plus but it certainly doesn't have to be! ;) )
