"Don't ever," she responded after he reassured her that he wouldn't leave her. Her hands had unconsciously grabbed a hold of his doublet and she clung close to him. Her head had rested against his shoulder but risen when she spoke -- bringing her silver pools to meet his blue orbs. "Don't ever," she reiterated. She was nervous and almost shy in his arms -- such a usually strong woman but weak in his embrace.
