I mentioned the True Sin Wetpaint page in our last post, but I neglected to notice that there's ... no link for said Wetpaint page. Oops.

Anyway, here's the Wetpaint link.

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled programming.

Good news, everyone! There is now a journal completely dedicated to True Sin's NPCs! The journal's name is truesin_npc, and the password to login to that journal is truesinnpc.

http://truesin_npc.insanejournal.com/

Anyone is free to write NPCs, and we ask that if you choose to write and post an NPC scene (solo or otherwise), you post it to both the NPC journal and the main True Sin board. When writing an NPC post -- or writing an NPC in the context of a scene with someone else's character -- please mention at the bottom of the post who wrote it. Something like:

[NPC John Doe was written by Jeff.]

OR:

[Post submitted by Jessica.]

Will do just fine.

Also, feel free to add icons for your NPC characters, but please make sure to specify in the keyword for the icon the character's name and to whom the NPC belongs. This way, we don't have people accidentally stumbling upon icons for other writers' NPCs.

NPCs are a great way to add variety to True Sin, both from a character and storyline standpoint. Feel free to use your imagination, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask the modly-type persons!

We will also be adding a page to our WetPaint resource page keeping track of all NPCs within the game. That way, it makes it easier for everyone to not only keep track of who the NPCs are, but who writes them.

Have fun, everyone!

Subject: Characters Wanted

We are looking for humans, vampires, shapeshifters, werewolves, psychics, users of witchcraft and black magic, telepaths, and other mythological creatures. Here are some character ideas:

Members of the Fellowship of the Sun
These can be devout followers, preachers, or just people who wanted to be a part of something and fell into the Fellowship.

Drainers and other dealers of illicit materials
This game is all about corruption and the dark underbelly present in modern-day society, and as such, we need vamp juice dealers (think Lafayette).

Shapeshifters
Either with good intentions or bad.

And other humans who are on either side of the vampire debate. We want an interesting mix of people that will make for equally interesting story lines.

Rules

There will be mature themes including violence, sexuality and other dark situations that uphold the spirit of Charlaine Harris' work. As such, writers must be 17 and older in order to be considered for membership.

Writers are expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy. Writers who fail to do this are making the choice to not be a part of our community.

We expect writers to be active and contribute to the overall plot, as well as developing and maintaining their own story lines with regards to their characters. There are no set posting requirements, but if you need to step away from the game for any period of time, a heads up would be greatly appreciated.

Posting Formats

We request that all scenes be written in third person, past tense style, and in paragraph form. i.e. Think a novel instead of a screenplay.

Scenes may be composed via Instant Messenger and Google Docs. Journal threads will be used sparingly.

Proper grammar and correct spelling is stressed. Chat speak is heavily frowned upon.

Any other questions can be directed to the mods.
