WHO: Claire and Edward WHERE: Leaving History of Magic and walking to the Common Room WHEN:Tuesday morning classes WHAT: Claire and Edward chat about things >RATED: PG!
Claire knew that History of Magic was important. She knew that all of the goblin wars and vampire treaties and secrecy statutes contributed to the way they lived today. She also knew that this class could be so much more interesting if Binns wasn't the teacher and if he didn't stop at the founding of the Ministry of Magic in 1700. Every so often, a student would ask about Harry Potter and the circumstances surrounding the second war, but he would quickly digress back to the writing of The Werewolf Code of Conduct in 1637. she had read up on all of this herself, and it was fascinating; so interesting in fact that she doubted even Binns could make it boring, which is why, she assumed, he wouldn't teach it.
Sighing and laying her quill down, Claire looked towards Edward. He was often a source of entertainment in the class, as Binns wasn't exactly aware enough to catch anyone passing notes. She couldn't tell if Edward was sleeping or just zoned out, but it didn't matter much as the class was called to an end a moment later. Claire packed up her things and threw her bag over her shoulder as she rose from her seat. She quickly followed the throng out of the classroom and when she caught up to Edward, she reached up and tapped him on the shoulder.
"I'm not sure I can take another bloody year of that," she breathed, taking a few quick steps to catch up to him. "I may end up killing myself before we reach the Squib Code of Conduct of who in their bloody right might gives a flobberworm's dung."
