Puppy made himself comfortable as close to behind the seat that Rabbit sat in as he could be, head down on his paws, all but resigned to being left in the back for now. Rabbit peeked out to see him and waved as Mickey walked around and then sat back down in his seat as his new friend did. He was surprised when Mickey handed him over a shirt, looking down at it like he wasn't sure what it was, running his fingers over the fabric.
"Thank you." he said, sincere and a little awed like it wasn't just a spare button down but some kind of priceless gift. He sat, stunned and petting the thing until Mickey started the car, making him jump. He tilted his head curiously at the mention of a 'Noel' but was as pliant as always and happy to be taken wherever the almost-stranger wanted to take him, a quality that had both frustrated and terrified NAME. "Yes Sir." He chirruped obediently before unashamedly stripping off.
The tshirt he'd been wearing was disgusting with filth and other substances, tattered around the hem and thinning in a lot of places. The body it had been semi-hiding wasn't in much better shape, just as discoloured from dirt and bruises that were mostly starting to go green along his ribs and his collarbones, dark on the insides of his thighs as well as all the other places the tshirt hadn't covered up. Rabbit shimmied into the new shirt happily, seemingly heedless of his nudity until he was settled in the thing. It was huge on him, the sleeves overshooting his hands and the hemline much longer, but he just seemed to like it all the more for that, humming in innocent pleasure as he snuggled into it. "Thank you." he said again, his smile open and honest until it was broken by a yawn, the new warmth and the motion of the truck already lulling him a little bit.
