Puppy had wriggled under the trailer in pursuit of his boy, finding it more difficult to get under there thanks to his larger, bulkier frame, and pulled himself up and out when he got to the other side, moving to stand between the stranger and his charge. Rabbit gave the stranger his trademark crooked smile but he was catching his breath and didn't have time to speak before Puppy curled his lip back and growled a low warning noise at the new possible friend.
The dog wasn't amused, even though the stranger's body language was non-threatening, and he only stood down a little because Rabbit pulled himself out fully from underneath the trailer and tugged at his foreleg. "Puppy." he said with a tsking tone, like the giant dog was just a misbehaving child. The King Shepherd lifted its head a little and it's teeth were covered again, but there was still a rumble in it's chest and a wrinkle in it's muzzle, it's guard still up. Rabbit had no such worries though, remaining on the floor and slinging his arm around his dog's neck, scrubbing at his ruff. "He's a good boy really." he explained, before grinning at the stranger again. "Hi!"
