Augustin read the paper again and then dropped it as he slumped onto the couch. Immediately he sobbed for though he didn't always see eye to eye with his father, he still WAS his father. And he was gone. But another part of him was angry. He didn't have just two sons as it appeared by reading the obituary. Who had wrote that, and why was Augustin being so removed from the family?

Thursday. He would go to the Chapel, he would give his respects to his father, and he would see Antoine and Aime. Augustin would not just go away like that.

Antoine, honestly, was still in a state of shock. Finding his father as he had was not the way that any child wished to find their parents. Reading the announcement in the paper, he was - honestly - a little surprised to see the title that had been his father's attachd to his name. He'd been acting as his go between for years and so it was simply a shock to know that he'd be referred to as the Lord now.

He would, however, have to find out who had written the announcement. As much as he didn't like his brother Augustin for leaving the family in it's time of need, he would never have dreamed of leaving him out of the announcement. Augustin was still his brother - even if only in Antoine's mind. Although, apparently Augustin didn't want to be a part of the family. After all, he had been the one that left them to deal with the revolutionaires.

This was not what he needed to be thinking about right now. Right now he needed to make the arrangements and ensure that Aime was well. He couldn't lose two family members in less then a week.
