Demetri was quite surprised by Nell's outburst, but he smiled because it was such a heart-felt compliment. "Have you never thought to take lessons? I bet you could learn. I don't think *I* would make a good teacher, but there are some truly wonderful artists in London who could." He took the book again from Nell's hands and leaned past him to place it on the table.
Demetri sat back on the bed and pulled Nell to him. "You sing and act beautifully, Harry is right about that. And I can laud great praise about your other talent having happily enjoyed them firsthand," he said with a smirk. "Don't be anyone but yourself Nell, whoever that person is. Be him, because he's pretty special." He kissed Nell again this time with far more emotion than last time.
