"Because he's Eward, my silly sister," Edith said simply. "He thinks he's perfect and therefore we would have no reason to think anything less of him." It had to sound extremely hypocritical coming from Edith, as everyone knew she thought herself to be perfect. But then again, everyone also knew that she was a hypocrite, even if she would never admit to her fault.
