She had silently listened to him lay it all out, reserving comments or judgments until he finished. It had been hard, her heart broke for him when he spoke of Alexandre, when she watched that tear roll down his cheek, she was so afraid for him. But when he did finish she let go of his hands and wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him tight. "Oh Demetri." she said softly, doing her best not to tear up.
And while terrible things had happened she was very pleased that he had been distant due to outside forces, he was still her brother and he wasn't as unsympathetic to Chris as he had pretended to be.
