Demetri smiled, though there was a bit of sadness behind it. "Getting over someone you love, especially when taken so suddenly from you, it can be a very hard thing to get over. You want to, and to move on, but the grief and sadness can be sometimes overwhelming. I'm glad Christopher is moving on, however slowly, and I'm sure Rupert helps too."
Pausing with her, he reached out and snagged a rose from one of the bushes and gave it to her. "It is entirely unfair, you're right.
