Meredith Fairchild: To the Museum Subject: An Outing. Who: Meredith Fairchild and Lord Chadwick’s children. Where: The British Museum. Warnings: none Open to: Theodore Berteaut, anyone.
Meredith ushered the children through the grand doors to the British Museum, taking off his hat as he entered and looking around. It was not often he had had a chance to visit this wonderful institute but with the money Thaddeus had given him for trips and travel he’d thought a visit to show the children the wonderful collection of artefacts and art would be the perfect way to begin what he hoped would be a series of such excursions.
It was just the three of them today. Meredith, Isaac and Bianca. Little Oscar was still far too young to enjoy this sort of thing. Maybe when they went for a nature walk the boy could accompany them in his carriage. Thaddeus of course was far to busy to join them.
“Now, stay with me. We’ll visit the military antiques first of all.” He said, taking hold of Bianca’s hand to make sure she did not run off.
