"Plus, I think it was the name of a few Roman Emperors and Saints." Just because he couldn't read didn't mean he couldn't persuade others to read things to him, and he enjoyed anything they wished to read to him. One man had even gotten it into his head to enlighten him with inane facts, which Piper had found interesting at the least.
Him? Attend balls all the time? He truly wished he did, but he wasn't about to say that. "I've attended more smaller scale parties and the like than full out balls," he replied, which, thankfully for him, was true enough. "And then the ones I do attend are usually during Christmas." Another truth For the most part. "Though I can say I can't recall ever attending one as extemporary as this one. What sort of events do you attend, if you do not mind me asking," he said, looking curiously at the boy, idly wondering the chances of coming across him at another function he was actually allowed to attend.
