Constance moved further inside and shut the door again and smiled at the boy. "The excitement from the ball, yes. There is definitely that," she said as she moved toward him but absently looked at the books lining the shelves. "You would indeed be correct. Just needing a small break, that's all."
She tilted her head a bit to see what he'd been reading. "I am sorry for interrupting you in your own time of quiet resting. I do apologise, sir," she said smiling at him.
