Edith smirked at the look on his face when she entered the bakery behind him. Smiling darkly she approached the counter and ordered two slices of cake. She made certain to give the larger one to Nils as she led him over to a table near the window.
"Mr. Warrington?" she repeated gently. The name sounded familiar, perhaps he had been one of the men she had slept with in her life, of course she couldn't be certain. There were too many of them to keep count. "A stable boy. Do you enjoy what you do, Nils?" she asked curiously.
