He couldn't help but smile when he saw her, dishevelled as she was. "Vivian, my dear." Hector greeted, "I shall come in, if only for a moment." He replied, stepping in after her, "In truth, I came to ask if you would care to take a walk with me? To Kew, if you would? We can take a carriage there and back, but the gardens in the evening almost rival your beauty and I would like for you to see them." He explained, blind to the mess of Vivian's home. He knew it was dirty, a mess, and in need of repair. He had half a mind to see that the work was done himself, or have the landlord charged with something, but Vivian would not let him, he knew. She was not a woman to take charity.
