Subject: Meeting Brother No. 1. In other news, Tessa is still clumsy.
Who: Thérèse du Labarre.
Where: Christopher's estate; a hallway near the library.
Warnings: None.
Open to: Demetri Blake.

Thérèse wanted to read something.

She was in a peculiar mood. Had been ever since that evening with Christopher in the library. The butterflies, as cliche as that was, in her stomach had begun and hadn't ceased since, and as such, she'd been rather giggly and jittery and... she felt like a teenager with a crush. They'd been building up to it for so long, to finally touch her lips to his, to feel that spark, that connection...

She needed to get her mind off of it, lest she actually regress to sixteen years old. So, off she went to the library, her old books tucked under her arm. But still, she couldn't prevent her mind from wandering. She was so silly, she knew, for getting so dreamy, so... so girly, but she couldn't quite help it. Christopher apparently had that effect on her. Honestly. She was so silly!

In fact, she was locked in such a reverie that she didn't look before rounding a corner. This resulted in her ploughing into something rather solid and human-like, which in turn, resulted in her letting out a shocked squeak and overbalancing, the floor rapidly growing closer as the books hit the parquet with a loud clatter. Nice.
