Adelaide sniffled a little, feeling much calmer now that somebody was trying to find Benjamin for her. She forced another out of place smile and nodded. "Yes, that would be lovely, madame," she said softly.
She wasn't worried about her nurses not being able to find her, as it was a silent wish of the young widow to rid herself of them. Her hollow eyes lingered on a group of young men passing them and for a moment there was a hint of fear on her once expressionless face. But the look disappeared the second the men turned the corner down the street.
