Adelaide watched as the footman ran off. She hoped he would be able to find Benjamin, as she couldn't bear to be without another thing that she loved in life. Loosing Benjamin permanently would perhaps be the last straw for her already damaged sanity.
"I am Adelaide Newbury," she said softly. "It is nice to meet you, madame." She glanced eagerly in the direction that the footman had gone off in before looking back to the other woman. "Thank you for helping me look for Benjamin," she said softly.
