Abby laughed. "I almost forgot you lived so nearby. Really, we must see more of each other. It's shocking we've all been so unsocial lately, but it seems like everything's been an uproar since Lysander returned. I haven't even seen Katherine in ages."
She glanced at the poor servants and felt a bit bad for them. "Of course, if you would like, my carriage is all but empty today. Only my lady's maid and myself. I would be happy to help a friend, and it's far better that your new packages aren't risked on the streets. I've been hearing nothing but tales of street urchins running amok and picking pockets lately." She sighed. "It would be dreadful if you lost a new pair of gloves to them."
