Daphne looked up, smiling just a little at his explination. Taking another step towards him, all she wanted was to be held by him, but still she wasn't sure if he would back away from her if she tried. "So what if they find you boring and all of that other stuff. You are marrying me.. not them. I know different. I know you a wonderfully lively young man who enjoys dancing and makes me feel finally like I am at home - well, before that fucker downstairs came here." She quirked an eyebrow at her obvious joke and sighed softly. "And, at any rate, like I said, the only thing my family is interested in is furthering their prospects; both socially and financially. Obviously, I am in love with you and therefore would not tolerate a thought of marriage to Eward - let alone actually going through with it. Katherine and Eward are together - sort of - and so he is occupied with that."
Looking back at him, she let a playful smirk slide onto her face and she shrugged. "I already think you are a dashing rogue who has already swept me off of my feet."
