Spinning around at his outburst, she narrowed her eyes at him and scoffed. "Excuse me? What was I supposed to say to what sounded like to me that you have practically given up on us because of something stupid my over protective brother said three weeks ago?" she followed him in and jumped out of the way at the flying jacket. "I can't understand? How do you think I feel about Yvette, huh? I've tried and tried to make her like me.. but I've gotten over it because I know there's something between the two of you. Like there's that trust that I know you could never have with me. I live with that, Daniel. Maybe it doesn't seem the same to you, but it hurts when she gets more attention than I do." Brushing the hot tears from her cheeks, she kept staring him down.
"I'm sorry, Daniel," she quieted. "I just.. I got used to the way you cared for me and.. ever since I stopped doing.. I'm so restless and obviously slightly tempermental and I start off intending to have a chat and talk things out and then I blow up and.. I'm used to people leaving me. Or wanting me to leave."
