When he mentioned Eward, Daphne's smile faultered and her brow furrowed with a slight annoyance. All she wanted was a moment for them to just be them again, not have to worry about anything like before. She just wanted to stomp her feet and scream, WHO GIVES TWO SHITS ABOUT EWARD?! but she couldn't do that to Daniel. Every chance she had gotten since their announcement gone ary, she had done everything she could to dispell any assumptions he may have had about her and Eward. "Well, he's being a downright shit. So no change on that front," she answered his question and sighed, looking back up at him. "But, let's forget about Eward for a little while, hmm?"
Closing the distance between him, that smirk on her face transforming into one that she had only shown him when they were alone and she ran her hands up his chest to his lapels, tugging gently and straightening them as if they weren't already. Batting her eyes up at him, trying her best to take his mind off of Eward, she whispered, "Why don't you come upstairs with me and relax? Get your mind off of work.."
