 Dearest Christopher I am so very sorry that I have not written you since I left. I truly hope you can forgive me, you know my forgetful nature and my impulsiveness. I should have found you before I left, I know, mother has done nothing but scold me since I told her of it. Something has come up and I find myself unwilling to leave London soon, but I will return eventually if you still wish me with you and if you are not cross with me. I do have a question though: Who is this woman staying with you that everyone seems to be speaking of? Is it true that she is a lovely young widow and that you may be considering giving up your bachelorhood for her? Give Lucas and Charlot my love, Olivia |
