"You might be right at that," Constance smiled back. "I tried to get as much out of Slater's 'friend' but I'm afraid, I don't have any further details. You know Slater though, he wants more. And forcing the boys, much as I hate to say it, I can't put it past him either."
She sighed as she rest back against her chair. "My thought is that if they get your boys and my girls, or enough of them, we won't have business enough to stay around. The clients, all the money will go to Slater, and word of mouth is a strong thing too."
Constance smiled again and agree with Harry. "I think you're definitely right about that. I'm not afraid of striking back or protecting what's mine either. I'll see if I can't hear anything and let you know." She laughed a little. "Now who would have thought they'd see the day we'd ever work together, on anything. Slater certainly won't see it and using that to our advantage will be very important."
