It was the embrace that almost knocked him backwards, but he managed to keep his balance and not end up spread over the desk and gazing at the ceiling. Only Nell was really able to over-balance him, and Harry still couldn't work out why... After all, he'd always been blessed with good balance. It'd been useful for climbing over walls and getting up drain pipes when he was a kid. "Alright, alright you!" He said, smiling but not laughing.
"You didn't expect me to have grown up a little bit, Miss Roper?" He said, after she'd let him go. "I happen to have got a lot done in the last few years. You just seem to have grown your own hair a bit." He says, picking up strands between his index and middle fingers and tickling her nose with them.
"Tree's still there, you know. I'll show you where, if you like."
