"Oh, this must be the entertainment I have heard tell of!" Aimé said, feeling quite delighted by the change of subject. "I'm afraid I have very little knowledge of the theatre or what makes great art, sir. As long as there is something to make me laugh, or something tragic to make me cry, I am sure I will enjoy it."
He paused, again taking a sip from his drink and considered the young man before him. Nervous, yes, but he seemed kind and simple enough in his own way. Preoccupied. That was good. A son who took too much interest in the running of the family affairs would only prove a challenge in someway.
"Where did you find your actors?" He asked. "I hear small one or two act plays are very fashionable these days for after dinner enjoyment."
