Katherine tried desperately to smile, but the image of Daphne and Eward was burned in her head. She should not have cared so much. After all, they had all known one another since they were children, and after the events of the afternoon, perhaps it was just courtesy and forgiveness that made the other two dance together. It was natural. She looked back to Daniel, and saw her own emotions very much written on his face. Was he, too, a bit distracted? That only confirmed her suspicions about Daphne and the doctor, but it made her heart warm; her friend deserved such a good man.
"Just...just one, I think," Katherine said agreeably.
