Daphne had worried about that money purse all day long, knowing that if her parents had found out she lost it, they would never trust her with her own money again. So she was relieved to hear that someone was in the lobby waiting to return her purse.
Rushing downstairs, in a blue cotton dress, she hopped off the last step and headed towards the front desk to ask for her purse, thinking the person who returned it had left it there. The man pointed her in the direction of the young gentleman who brought it back. Turning, she squinted and recognized him, slowly walking over.
