Her fingers moved along the beads as she prayed, counting the Hail Marys, only opening her eyes after meditating at the end of the decade. She saw Christopher and the priest talking, before the priest moved away again, and she subconsciously drew the beads closer to her chest.
She finished the rosary and then began to pray for Julien, thinking back to him, the memories stark in her mind, and it wasn't until she reopened her eyes again that she realised she was crying. She sobbed silently, her body trembling; she was glad for the veil, as it would hopefully hide her tears.
