Once Christopher had helped her down, Thérèse readjusted her dress again, glancing down at herself to doublecheck she looked alright. The rosary beads in hand, she nodded, giving Christopher another smile. "Thank you... I shan't take long to choose," She reassured him, fishing out her little coin purse.
She glanced towards the church, visible from where they were, and watched the people filing out from the service. "Thank you for bringing me here." Her voice was quiet, and she hesitated before reaching out and sliding a gloved hand over Christopher's shoulder, moving in a little so the gentle gesture slowly became a tentative embrace, her arm looping around his neck. "Thank you for everything."
