Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Hi! Kayleigh here again. I managed to get talked into getting another character (okay, so it wasn't particularly difficult) and so here she is.

This is Susan Abbot, Nell's older sister, who's been conspicuously absent for the last four years or so as she's been off enjoying herself in a travelling theatre company. Austria was wonderful, Paris was just so very much fun before all that fuss and she was quite fond of Italy too. She's an extremely flighty girl who's only ever out for her own interest; pretty dresses come before family any day. Strangely, she's a brilliant tragic actress, which is how she's achieved one of the top spots in her company. Maybe now she's back home she'll move elsewhere though, if the pay and fame are good enough.

She's greatly looking forward to what the social scene in the big city can offer her and hopes to perhaps pick herself up an older patron, or even husband. He would have to be much older though as Susan has no interest in having children or looking after little ones (that's what servants are for!). A few female friends would be nice too, just so she can keep an eye on the gossip and the changing fashions. Hopefully the experience will be interesting; she's so been hoping that now she's back home things will be better than before she left. Things were so droll last time.

Nell's going to hide!

I'm so excited to have Susan in game, I can't wait to see what you do with her and how the relationship with her developes (or doesn't!)

I should think so, Susan can be a bit terrifying at times!

It's going to be great fun playing her, I'd say, especially her interactions with her little, baby brother.

Hey! Two of my lads will no doubt Love her.
Eward is a ladies' man and will try and get her into bed at any cost. Callum is possibly more suited - he's a Scottish actor under the guise of Callum Young, an infamous painter so the Earl doesn't get the flack for drawing nudies.
But he was an actor, still is really, but living a lie. He's also a ladies' man but nicer with it and would adore Susan.

Oh, Susan thinks that your two guys sound fantastic! She'll certainly probably try leading along Eward as much as she can, but might enjoy Callum's company more. Actors are always so much more interesting, after all. (Callum does actually sound like a great character anyway, I love his background, and I'm sure Susan would find his story just brilliant! Just like one of her plays!)
Even so, I'm sure she'll have lots of fun with both of them. It'll be great to play with them in game and see what comes up with Susan and her rather flighty and magpie-like ways. :)

I doubt Callum would tell her of his situation as he's being paid to shut up about it, really, but he could always tell her he used to be an actor. That might work!

Ah, true, true. Sorry. She'd still be thrilled that he used to share her craft (especially since he's so successful and well-known now!) even if he's moved on since then.
