The Outside

The rebel group had wanted to use the outsiders to help them but now was not the time. Not yet. With some reservations, Fritz and Etienne had given the small band of intrepid rescuers a bit of information about the THI Headquarters but had to refuse to help anymore. They had too much as stake and still a mission to do on their own.

They’d given them fake Id’s, a DB scrambler, a credit chip with enough funds to get them out and far and as comfortable as they could be until their world picked them up. It was received from the Shadow Benefactor that the information had been relayed. That rescue was imminent.

Laila needed to get out or she would miss the window. There were failsafes inside...Not even Etienne or Fritz could explain more than that. They couldn’t say what they were really doing to Laila. Why their leaders were intent on keeping her. Something to do with her abilities surely but what?

Didn’t matter, it was now or never.

The plan seemed simple, Peter could get them in with his badge. He’d pretend to have detained Alex. Etienne and Laila would get in with them but break off. Elevator shafts and ducts for them...

The last gift was trying to get as many friendlies on shift as they could but not everyone would be. This would be dangerous. No reason to think otherwise.
The car they’d been given was parked nearby. There they assembled, the four of them against an army of agents.

Floyd looked excited about it, “Dort, wo sich die Füchse gute Nacht sagen” and he gave each of the three a nod. “We’ll get her back. Then we get out of here and we hold on until we ALL get back
