His words hit their mark and the look on his face...
She stood up and the armchair that had appeared for neville to sit in expanded into more of a couch. She sat down next to him and gave her friend a hug. He really looked like he needed it. Really needed it.
She didn't move from that position. The information started to sink in and she took note of everything. If it was one thing she knew it was that from his response he was scared... even if he said he wasn't to some extent he was but it had hardened into resolve... or was on its way. Either that.
She finally pulled back, an arm still around his shoulder. She didn't smile but instead held and understanding look on her face. "I believe you, so unless I'm no one you'll have to retool your view on that..." she meant it to try and lighten the mood. "I guess it was just a matter of time before they infultrated the school... with all the students here there have to be some who are in his following..." she sighed. "The odds say that..."
She paused thinking. "You think you could show me where that portrait was? Because it'd doubtful that it was a new portrait... asking around subtilly could garnish some useful information..."
She looked at him for a moment before taking his hand again. "You realize that you aren't alone, right? And that you don't have to do it all alone... Harry, for all his praises... he felt he had to take it on his own. Even with Mione and Ron's help..." She tilted her head. "You know..." she added again. "If I can do this," She held up the hand that wasn't already in use, a slight smile on her face as she just created some bluebell flames in her hand... "so can you..."
