She couldn't believe that she'd actually let Rosslyn do this... not only had she left for fifteen minutes, as if that wasn't bad enough she had this green stuff on her face... She wondered for a moment - as she decended the stairs to the Girl's Dormitories - why she hadn't just done this later...
On the other hand this needed to be done. This entire thing had been her fault and it was time for it to be taken care of. She'd screwed up... again. It had been a tough time but Dean hadn't deserved it... They'd been relatively friendly since the beginning of the school year - when it had happened, but she missed him. And now... well - it needed to be done.
She walked out of the shadow of the staircase and sat down on the couch where he was already positioned... and then she waited for the reaction...

What: Discussion
When: January 31 - after the article and the back and forth in the journals
Where: Common Room
Why: Because Leigh and I haven't threaded in like... ever? Or close to it.
Status/Rating: closed, incomplete/TBD
She hadn't wanted to sit in the dorm after what had happened. There was still no word on her aunt... First her father, then Harry, then her aunt went missing, and now Dumbledore was dead... So much happening in so short a time. Dumbledore had been the reason she had started her training. He was the reason that she was studying the books she was... the one that was now sitting in her hands, the one that she had charmed the cover of to look like another text so no one could get her in trouble.
...the book that she just couldn't focus on.
Things were now darker. Moreso than before. But even if the darkest of places there was a light - even if it came from within. She had been deemed 'Light' by her father some years earlier for just this reason. Although now her optimism had been tainted by reality - all the same, like she kept saying, it was now up to them.
She tried to focus on her book, thinking of what to do next, but the words went in one ear and out the other...

Summary: It's time for Draco to fulfill his duties to Lord Voldemort. He's scared for his life as well as his mother and father. However, he's also scared to face Dumbledore and do what he has been demanded to do for quite some time now.
Rating: NC-17 for death, violence and quite possibly urinal discharge.
( And in my hour of darkness, she is standing right in front of me. )
