WELCOME TO TOKYO
Welcome to Tokyo_707, an Ai Yazawa based role playing game that centers around the NANA manga series. Players will be able to apply and play as any of Yazawa's characters at the time of their series' end (ParaKiss in the case of Neighborhood Stories) and integrate them into the NANA plotline. The plotline beginning at the moment Ai Yazawa began her hiatus.
DRAMA
HAVE FUN. This is just a game. We will be playing stories that will eventually include allot of drama, so try to keep the IC and OOC drama seperate! If you are involved in some OOC drama and you simply cannot resolve it by yourself please contact a moderator and we will do our best to help settle things. If we notice that certain users are causing allot of drama they will be warned, and if it continues we will have no choice but to ask you to leave the group.
ACTIVITY
For this community, we will be using Tokyo_707 as an OOC group with activity being completed in your personal journals! We are looking for posts at least once a week, however, we do know that personal life often comes in for the attack but if we notice lengthy absenses we will contact you to get the 411! It's best to keep contact.
PAIRINGS
We are open to all pairings, but keep any entries over PG-13 under cuts with a warning to the content. We know Yazawa likes her sex. We are het, yaoi and yuri friendly, but, please consider the characters canon development BEFORE you decide to make them gay. Many of the characters have been developed and, for some, explicitly state they are straight so making them fall for someone of the same gender, with a sub-par excuse, for the sake of your personal preference doesn't really make sense in the grand scheme. If you're going to take that route make sure you really think it through or talk to a mod!
PUBLICITY
For many of the characters in the Yazawa universe, they are going to be in the public eye. SEARCH magazine will be a reoccuring NPC that will affect the lives of the rich and the famous. Be aware of what your character is doing in public, as it may affect the popularity of your character -or Band-.
Each band, BLAST and TRAPNEST, will have a band journal they must update once every month with band updates. Band updates can include: tour dates, concerts, single releases, etc.
RELEASES
Once, every season, BLAST and TRAPNEST must release a single on their Band's journal. All members of the band must decide amongst themselves what song they want to submit, there should be some thought in this because there will be a vote on which song has the best sales OOC by community.
The criteria for judging is as such: Genre Consistency, Catchiness, and General Likability.
You do not HAVE to use Anna Tsuchiya/Mika Nakashima for BLAST nor do you have to use Olivia/Yuna Ito for TRAPNEST. You can use anythiiiiiing, check out the 'LOVE FOR NANA" album for some inspiration.
