Welcome to the Deck 5 Lounge

	"Yeah, we're from all over the place." She replied as she took a seat next to Max and sipped her own drink. "Where are you from?" She asked as she came to fix her glasses once more and sip at her beer for the moment. It was almost creepy how alike they looked if Darcy didn't have glasses people wouldn;t be able to tell them apart. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Max was not someone who got weirded out often, she'd lived in New York for far too long to let that happen, but this girl sitting beside her wearing her face was definitely starting to weird her out. The similarities were obvious and their differences... Well, Max would be fucked to find them. But it had only been a couple of minutes, so maybe talking to her more would highlight them. But they had the same dark hair (Max thought hers was a shade or two darker and probably a little longer), same height, similar build (again, Max thought she was bustier and she was thankful for that because a person could take her face but Jibbers Crabst help them if they tried to take her boobs). After a closer look, though, leaning in to see well enough in the low-light of the lounge, Darcy's eyes were a slightly different color- more green behind her glasses to Max's grey-blue.

"Brooklyn." By way of Rhode Island, but she wasn't exactly going to share that. Especially since she was never going there again if she could avoid it. "You?"

Darcy blinked a little as Max came close to her face. Only to lean back a little and lift a brow at her for the moment. "Same." She replied as she shrugged her shoulders. "But before coming here I was in London." She replied as she sipped her beer once more. Darcy wasn't too weirded out. After all, she meets a Thunder God and battled Dark Elves. She could handle this.

"What did you do back in Brooklyn? I went to school, before interning for Jane Foster and going to New Mexico and then London." She replied as she brushed her hair back and adjusted her knit cap for the moment.

"School? How old are you?" Max asked, settling back in her seat. Because Max had just turned 31 and she knew she didn't look it. If Darcy was still in school, she was likely at least a few years younger. Unless she was a fuck up, like Max was. Or had been. Before she met Caroline.

"I've got a cupcake shop in Williamsburg," she said, taking another sip and relaxing as the large amount of rum in her drink seemed to be starting to hit her bloodstream. It could have just been wishful thinking. Like maybe if she bribed the Captain or the Chief Medical Officer, maybe they'd give her weed back. "And I'm a waitress. And part time horse walker. But I used to be a nanny. And a drug mule."

	And there was the what the fuck face. "Well, I'm not in school anymore. I graduated before showing up here." She added as she came to finish her beer. When she mentioned cupcakes Darcy did smile. "I love cupcakes. I bake them also, but as a hobby." She replied with a nod of her head. "My degrees are mechanical engineering and Poli Sci." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"...I've heard of both those things." But that was about it. "My... best friend. Caroline? She was a business major. Went to Wharton." Another (bigger) drink that very nearly gave her brain freeze, but Max was hardier than that. "I went to the Manhattan School of Pastry. But that was like, way after I started my business." 	She came to nod her head as she listened to Max talks about her life a little. "Well, aside from looking like we're completely different. So that's a good thing." She replied laughing lightly as she finished her beer and pushed the empty bottle to towards the tender to discard of it. "Well, if you need anything let me know. Maybe I can help.
