Welcome to the Hawaiian Luau!

All characters who joined the Hawaiian Islands excursion are invited to a traditional luau and pig roast in honor of the travelers. Enjoy drinks, dinner, hula, live music, a private beach, and each other.

When Han came over Poe straightened a little, "What's not to like? It's pretty amazing here. A little different to space travel but I've learnt to adapt. How about you?" he asked, he knew he was no doubt going to get some kind of protective father talk and was prepared for it. He respected Han a lot and wouldn't want to do anything to interfere with that. Especially since they were both in flight training, awkwardness wouldn't help there.

"It is pretty nice." He nodded. "Personally, I miss being in the air, but it's nice to go planetside and relax for a while." he agreed.

Still keeping a friendly, tone, he said "I just thought it might be nice to talk a little more. I see Jaina seems to like you. I just think it's all going so fast...they were just kids back home. Now, I'm suddenly facing what all parents do when the teenage years hit. I do want to be sensible about it, though, even if I cant help worrying about them."

"Usually going planetside for me involves some kind of mission so this is definitely a change I don't mind" Poe said with a grin. He loved his life but he couldn't deny that relaxing here was pretty damn good.

"I like Jaina too, a lot and we enjoy each others company" Poe said, resisting the urge to tap on a 'sir' as he would have back home. "You don't need to worry when it comes to me, I promise I'm not going to do anything to hurt her" It wasn't the first 'dad' talk Poe had ever received but it felt like the most important one.

Han nodded. "I remember those days. Every time we landed, too much fighting for my taste. I did what I had to, but I was sure glad when there wasn't so much of it."

He listened, glad to hear it. "Somehow, I think she's the kind of girl who'd make her feelings known pretty well if anything did happen...and she wouldn't even need her lightsaber to do it. But, even so, glad to hear it." he said.

"It looks like you definitely have a few things in common...you said you're a pilot, if I remember right? That's great to hear. Although I still think I'm better, older or not." He chuckled as he said it, though, as it was just good natured ribbing. He still thought it was true, though.

Poe nodded, "Yeah it's not easy but we're fighting to make things better. I just remind myself of that, who and what I'm fighting for" Mostly it was because Leia had sent him to do something she trusted only him to do.

Chuckling Poe agreed, "Yeah she'd kick my ass and then some. It's part of what I like about her" Among so many other things of course.

"Yeah, training here too. Though the shuttle things they fly here really don't have anything on my X-Wing" he admitted, it was a shame in Poe's eyes, "Then we'd see who was the best" he added with a smirk.

Han nodded. "I really feel bad for all of you...seems things went so much worse there than for us. Although we've had to fight a lot, too." he said.

Han had to chuckle at that part. That was Jaina, all right.

"You'd be hard pressed to beat the Falcon" Han said, his pride in his ship coming out. "Not sure how we'd do it fairly, though...one of us would have to learn the other's ship so we could fly the same thing. Luke does tell me they're nice...but they seem a little too cramped for me."

"We do what we can and hopefully it'll be enough" Poe said, it was actually pretty good to hear that there was a scenario where it didn't get as bad as it was for them. Even if it wasn't a version of reality Poe was part of.

"I've seen the Falcon in action and I can't deny she's impressive" Poe agreed, "I can fly anything so I'm sure it wouldn't take me too long to get the hang of it" he grinned, he wouldn't pass up the chance to fly that legendary ship if the chance arose. Though he would always prefer his own ship.

"Yeah, I hope." Han replied. "Kinda like back home, I guess. I hated to hear that things went so bad for you all...doesn't really seem fair. One timeline gets a decent, if somewhat rough, future, and the other gets the worst thrown at it." He sighed.

Han grinned, though, at the talk of his ship. "Same here. And you better believe Jaina picked it up, too. It definitely runs in the family." That was the one thing he always said was from him, but he knew how it was with Luke, too. He'd seen and heard about Anakin during that Tattooine trip...

"At least we know there's a version out there where it's not as bad" Poe said, "It's a kind of comfort and you know as bad as things are for us we have Leia leading us so we have a lot in our favour" he smiled. His belief in Leia as a leader was incredibly high.

"Flying is in the blood, that's what my mother always said too" Poe said, he'd got his love of flying from her.

"Yeah...yeah, you do for sure. I don't think it matters what world she's from, she's a heck of a woman." he replied. Of course, his belief in her was high too, though for different reasons than Poe.

"I can't say where I got it from. Never knew my parents." he said. "Wouldn't surprise me, though. It definitely runs in Leia's side, though I still like to think more of it's from me."

Han had to smile in agreement. "No argument there." he replied.

"I still don't like them flying the ~~Falcon~~, though. I know, I'm probably overprotective. But sometimes, Leia talks me into it." he said.

"What she really liked were X-Wings, though...something tells me she found a place in one of the squadrons when she got older. No one's told me much, and if it's not good, I'm not sure I wanna know...but i just have a feeling."

	Poe chuckled, he imagined Leia would get her way though he was sure that Han did too. He always respected the both of them, it hadn't ever been easy for them. Though it sounded like their marriage was a happier one than in the world Poe came from. 	Han smiled back. "I bet they are. Although I'm still happier with something with a fresher and shower. I can just imagine after a long hyperspace flight..." he shook his head. "Can't be too pretty." He'd gotten too close to Luke once or twice after one of those flights, and it definitely wasn't nice. (Reply to this) (Parent)
