"I'm sure they can otherwise you might have a very short career as a bartender here." Kara smiled more when she heard his laugh, it was hard not to. He made her happy to the point she found it hard not to smile around him.
"Did you miss me?" A hint of that teasing tone still in her voice even as she leaned up and kissed his cheek. "Because I know I'd have missed you if it had been the other way around."
