Dani was humming softly as she made her way through the halls. It'd taken a week, but she was starting to get the basic layout memorized, meaning she knew how to get from her room, to food, to the science lab in order to collect Peter for dinner most nights.

Just the thought of Peter made Dani smile. The man was great to be around. He was fun and interesting and absolutely brilliant. She'd managed to luck out meeting someone like him to become friends with, but she'd always had luck when it came to finding the best people around. She also had a tendency to find the worst, but hopefully that wouldn't happen this time around.

Today, Dani had gotten Peter to agree to finally show her these 'web shooters' that he made. Honestly, she figured it'd be some sort of grappling hook based off the comics. But it really was a great way to get girls probably. Here she was after all. She'd gotten directions from someone passing and slipped in before Peter got there. Dani smoothed her hands over the black jean shorts she wore and smoothed the green tanktop,hoping to at least look semi nice before he came. Her hair was already an absolute mess. She hadn't the time to straighten it properly today and it was pulled back into one curly ponytail.

Peter had been enjoying spending time with Dani; discussing her world was always fun, talking about all the amazing things she'd seen in such an odd and different world. Peter rather found it fun really. She did eat a lot though, and it was rather amusing to watch, he was happy that she was becoming less insecure about it over time though.

Choosing to change out of his blue uniform and into his Spider-Man suit, since it allowed him to swing easier. Right now, the uniform looked like just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, as the nano tech bots were meant to look like that until otherwise told.

Making his way into the holodeck, he blinked when he spotted Dani there in shorts and tanktop. He blinked a few times just watching her a moment, before then waving towards her, "Uh, hi. Hi... so you got here first. How long have you been waiting?"

Dani hadn't really been there more than a couple of minutes when she caught sight of Peter. When she got a good look at him though, she froze. Was that actually a spiderman costume? Damn he was hardcore. Dani looked him over and whistled. It showed off his physique quite well. He was much more muscular than he let on.

Dani likey.


"Aye, I got here first, but only by a few minutes ta be honest." She shrugged and smiled at him. "Nice outfit by tha way. Very authentic." Because he literally looked like he walked out of a comic book and it was more than a little awesome. Maybe she could make her own superhero outfit. She'd always wanted to back home, but no one was too keen on running around with the Mega in spandex, even Mac.

Peter laughed and shook his head, "Well it should be, I made it and it's definitely new, and high-tech, so..." Peter grinned and moved towards her, lifting a hand towards hers to take it, lifting it some as he looked down at her, "Care to swing from my webs with me?"

He thought about that a moment, "That's... that's weird to say that, right? That's like, that's not a thing anyone should say, is it?" He tapped the button on his suit and the mask formed around his head all liquified like before solidifying and he spoke up, "Computer... god it's so cool to say that, computer, give me 21st Century New York, cira... 2017." The world began to change around them, forming the large New York cityscape, with them standing on a rooftop.

"There we go."

Dani looked it over curiously. She'd love to know just what it did beyond show off his body. His comment drew her attention back to him a second later though and she started to laugh. He really did have this Peter Parker thing down. She could imagine him saying just that, and that actually made her blush a little and smile.

"It's fine. It's a wee bit charmin." But then he called out to the computer and the world changed into New York and for a moment Dani stared. To see somewhere so similar to her home looking as if it were in one piece made her heart soar.

Dani squeezed his hand and looked over at him. "Ready ta go? I am lookin ta be impressed Mr. Superhero."

Peter looked down at their hands and grinned, shrugging, "Yea, I think so." He moved from her hand to wrap his arm around her waist and looked down at her, "I hope this is okay, let me know if the... closeness is weird, but it does kind of require it. You know--I'm going to shut up now."

Peter moved towards the building's edge and drew her in just a bit tighter, probably tighter than he needed to, and decided to scare her a bit because he was an idiot, that's why. He looked down at her, "Enjoy the fall."

He pushed her off the edge and watched her fall a moment, before then leaping off the building and falling after her. He slammed his hands down next to his sides to go faster, surging through the air as he fell after her, "Computer, play Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue."

When the music began to play over the city, it sure did sort of ruin the feeling of being in a real city, but who cared? As he neared her, he shouted, "There, that's more like it!" Throwing a hand out to the side, he fired off a line of webbing, and criss-crossed with her, snatching her up by her waist as the line took hold and they swung up, barely sliding above passing cars, before launching back into the sky once more, letting the line go, holding her close as they flew into the air. Flipping upside down and looking at her, "I hope you didn't eat too much before this."

And with a twist of his body, he made sure to make them both as thing as possible and fell down between a few buildings in an alleyway, and swinging out of it a moment later.

Dani felt her cheeks warm a little with just how close she was to Peter. Usually when she got this close to someone, she was the one carrying them thanks to her speed, not the other way around. "It's fine. Not weird at all." At least not the bad sort of weird.

But then the asshole tipped her off the roof and she managed to scream. Dani cursed herself for having trusted him. She went against her own first rule to trust no one but herself, but here she was trying to see if there was a way that she could enter the slipstream in midair. (She couldn't.)

But then he caught her and she nearly punched him. "You are an arse!" She hissed, but she forced herself to relax as she took a moment to enjoy. "Do ye scare all the girls ye bring swinging?"

"Not all, but to be fair, most of the ones I swing with I am swinging in to save them. So, you know, they're already scared and it's not me. I did terrify MJ once though, she wouldn't speak to me the rest of the trip," He kicked off a wall, and swung back down towards the street, and back up. Calming the ups and downs a bit, so that she was just resting in his arm as he moved from building to building.

He looked down at her, "But that's the funnest part, you know, the falling and then the upswing. Always my favorite, and plus, it's the only way to get as high as possible and see the whole city."

The mention of MJ earned an eyebrow quirk from Dani. Man he really was playing up this whole idea of actually being spiderman. Maybe he was a little odd in the head. But it wasn't like she was any less fucked in her own way. And if he wanted to pretend to be one of the best loved superheroes in the world, who was she to complain, especially while flying through the sky with him.

She had to admit that he was right though. Now that the panic had died, she was enjoying the ride for all that it was. It was a thrill a second she felt her stomach rise and drop. "Aye well, I'd like ta know about tha fall first, then I'm fine. Otherwise yer a dick..... Think ya can catch me if ye let go?" She wondered, because it sounded kind of fun so long as she knew he had her.

Spinning through the air with her, Peter thought a moment while their bodies carried on the momentum, and he shook his head with a chuckle, "Now you want to fall? I definitely could catch you, I'm pretty good at it. I do it for a living you know."

He then raised a brow, "Plus the safeties are on, the holodeck wouldn't let you get hurt..."

He grinned, chuckling, "So I could actually not catch you and you'd be fine,... but I'd definitely, totally catch you."

"Aye, I'm willin ta take a few risks if I know yer there ta catch me." She smiled at him. "So ye better catch me or I'm going ta be mighty foul atcha." It was good to know that this place would keep her safe.

With a wink,she let go of him and waited for him to let go of her before she let herself freefall. It actually pretty thrilling as she felt the adrenaline that pumped through her and let out a woot.

"But you don't KNOW that I'm going to catch you. I mean I say I will, but there's always the chance--" Then she dropped away from him, and he blinked, "WHO DOES THAT?!"

Peter dropped from the line, and quickly whipped himself around to start falling after her. He fired two more lines of webbing past her, connecting to a building and tugging hard to throw himself faster through the air towards her. As he neared her, he then fired more webbing, this time at her hips, and tugged her towards him, and himself towards her, catching her by the waist, and spinning himself around so his back was to the ground, before he fired a webline up into the air, narrowly missing the road as he swung off, and had to run along the trailer of a semi, then kicked off that, swung them both between two buses, and then back into the air.

He looked over at her, "You're crazy."

Dani would've actually found it pretty funny had she seen Peter's face. But in reality, she did trust him. He wouldn't have pushed her off the building the first time if he didn't have faith in his abilities. And he should. He was skillful as he grabbed her and swung them back up.

She was laughing brightly with a wide smile as he looked back at her and called her crazy. "Aye, a bit. But ye did say this place wouldna let me get too hurt, and I didna think you would either. Looks like I were right." She held onto him tight and watched the wold speed past them. "Did I scare ye?"

Peter laughed as they swung, taking it a bit slowly as he kept his arm wrapped around her. She... felt nice in his grip, he rather enjoyed having her there. Shaking his head, he turned his gaze back towards her, "You were right, but doesn't mean I can't screw up once in awhile. Still, yea, it's nice..."

He looked around, then back to her, "And yes, you scared me. Crazy girl. I won't admit I like crazy a bit though."

After that adrenaline rush, it was kind of nice to be in Peter's arms. He was steady and strong. And while he admited that he could screw up, Dani couldn't stop herself from trusting that he wouldn't if she needed him.

"Too late, I'll take it that ye like my brand of crazy." She winked at him. "Because I'm liking yer's." Because it was crazy that he built working web shooters, brilliant but absolutely mad.

Once he came across a rather tall building that broke the skyline, he swung up and landed on the platform with her, coming to stand near the edge as he held on to make sure she didn't tumble off.

He then laughed, "Well, I do rather like the brand of crazy you're offering, yea... It's... refreshing. And I'm not crazy, I'm just Spider-Man. They don't necessarily go hand in hand..."

Dani had to admit that this was more fun than it ever looked in the comics and probably one of the best days she'd ever had. Landing, she looked around the place before glancing at him. "Not going to push me off again, are ye?"


"But I'm glad ye like me special sort o' crazy, it's tha best kind." She winked at him. The whole spiderman thing was crazy too, but really if he could do it, why wouldn't he want to be a superhero like that? "They don't? You wear spandex lad... even if it do look verra fine on ye." Dani winked at him before glancing back at the skyline. "Ye ever miss home?"

"Nah, I've now established that you rather enjoy it, taking all of the fun out of it," Peter offered, laughing a bit while he watched her, then turned up his brow, eyes falling on her, his face behind the mask quickly growing red, and suddenly he was very happy for that mask.

"I uh... you'd like mighty fine in spandex too, I'm sure, if you had any on you," He chuckled, then raised a brow looking back towards the skyline, "All the time. New York's my home, my city. My friends are all there, potentially in danger. I love it out there, and I want to help them, but I figure people are coming in after me, so that probably should mean I'm still there in some sense. Protecting them all.

"Darn." She let out a giggle and winked at him. "I think you jus' dinna want ta have ta grab me again." Even if it had been pretty fun the second time, but it could've been nerve wracking to have to make sure she was safe too.

"Aye? Meybe I'll have ta find some, aye? Have an extra suit lyin around?" Dani suddenly wished that his face was bare, because he sounded nervous and that meant he probably looked pretty cute too. "You think so? It'd be nice ta know that there's a me back in Dublin fightin tha fight." Protecting her sidthe seers sisters.

Peter laughed and shrugged, "i don't mind grabbing you, just the fear of you falling is all," Peter grinned with a chuckle, he then looked back at her and raised a brow, "I don't, know, but I'm sure there's plenty of tight fitting clothes aboard. Some of the other girls seem to have found them, and some of the guys too..."

He then turned up a brow beneath his mask, "I think that's what it means yea, since time doesn't stop, it keeps flowing, we just are creating a separate reality. It's like that branch thing that Back to the Future talks about in the second one..."

He watched her a moment then grinned, "Though I'm glad to be here..."

"It's hard ta be afraid when yer here ta catch me." She winked back at him. It was true. It was hard to be afraid when someone like Peter was around. It felt nice. She had a few people like that back home, But she tended to be one of the big bads in the area so she was the comfort, not the one being conforted often.


"Well I'll have ta find something ta wear then." The talk of timelines was a bit odd, but it also made sense when he brought up back to the future. "I liked that movie." She turned to face Peter fully and smiled back. "I am too. Ye make things interestin."
