Dani was humming softly as she made her way through the halls. It'd taken a week, but she was starting to get the basic layout memorized, meaning she knew how to get from her room, to food, to the science lab in order to collect Peter for dinner most nights.
Just the thought of Peter made Dani smile. The man was great to be around. He was fun and interesting and absolutely brilliant. She'd managed to luck out meeting someone like him to become friends with, but she'd always had luck when it came to finding the best people around. She also had a tendency to find the worst, but hopefully that wouldn't happen this time around.
Today, Dani had gotten Peter to agree to finally show her these 'web shooters' that he made. Honestly, she figured it'd be some sort of grappling hook based off the comics. But it really was a great way to get girls probably. Here she was after all. She'd gotten directions from someone passing and slipped in before Peter got there. Dani smoothed her hands over the black jean shorts she wore and smoothed the green tanktop,hoping to at least look semi nice before he came. Her hair was already an absolute mess. She hadn't the time to straighten it properly today and it was pulled back into one curly ponytail.
