Leaning back against the wall, he said, "Shouldn't you be with that husband of yours? Seems like that would be a good enough reason to take some time off bringing prisoners their dinners."
Glancing over at Beckett, he didn't respond at first. When he did, there was a touch of hysteria in his voice. "Yes, I had an impressive temper tantrum and now I'm in time-out. In the meantime, I'm still on this damned ship, and now the one person who's always been there for me isn't. And I just now realized she probably had her blades on her and that would have been enough to get me off the ship but too late!"
