The general consensus is not to close TJS, and that makes me pretty happy. ^_^ Sadly, no new people have app'd us yet, and that makes me not as happy. But it's okay because I still have you brats.
Several of you have suggested that we advance the game a few years to perhaps freshen up the comm, bring in new blood. A lot of you are busy, I know, and getting to posts and the like is difficult, not to mention the thought of making new characters and tying up old ones. Plus, this would mean a revamp on the entire game which is a fair amount of Mod work. Not that I'm unwilling to do it, I'm just laying it out.
If we go this route, it would be ten years, placing TJS at the start of fall semester in 2019. That means most of your characters that aren't teachers will be long gone from here, unless they get a position at the school or have a child attending.
So first, are there any abhorrent objections to skipping the game forward? Second, do you guys want time to wrap things up, and if so how much? (End of the summer, end of July, middle of July, etc?) Or, do you just want the next game week to end and then hiatus until the new game is up and running?
All suggestions and ideas are taken into account, but ultimately it is up to the Mods so please don't feel like you're getting snubbed! We're just going to go with what is most desired/easiest on everyone.
